Terms and Conditions 2022

Deposit 

A $100.00 deposit is to be made within 24hrs of placing the booking. Failure to do so means the date is still available for others to book. When sending through the deposit the Booking Form is to be sent in at the same time, filed out and signed. A booking will not taken unless both the $100.00 deposit and Booking Form is sent through. 

The remainder of the balance is due 4 weeks prior to the event. If your booking is made less then 4 weeks out from the event the FULL payment is due when placing the booking. 

Cancellation 

Any cancellation made 1 week prior to the event will receive there full payment back (excluding the $100.00 deposit). Because we source both food and flowers locally any cancellation made less then 1 week out from the event will receive no refund as everything would have been purchased and organised for the event. 

Wet Weather

Pallet Picnics is based in SE Queensland, which is subject to rapid weather changes. When filling out your Booking Form we ask to have a backup location written down just in case the weather is to turn bad. If the weather is predicting rain or  a storm we will NOT setup in an area that isn't protected. In the case of an extreme weather event (e.g flood) dates for the booking can be changed at our next availability. If you must cancel please read the cancelation t&cs above

Alcohol Consumption and Food Safety

Pallet Picnics takes no responsibility for the consumption of alcohol. Liquor Act 1992: It is against the law to sell or supply gift baskets containing alcohol to, or obtain alcohol on behalf of someone under the age of 18 years. Food is provided fresh on arrival. We advise that the food is safe to consume up to 4hours after being our of refrigeration. It is up to the customer to decide if the food is safe to consume after it has not been kept at the appropriate temperature. 

Loss and Damages 

Pallet Picnics will not be liable to any loss or damages to items during the allocated event time. The customer will be responsible for the security of all the items during the time of the event. The customer is responsible for gaining approval from local authorities to have the event in the allocated area. Pallet Picnic takes no responsibility for injury that occurs during the time of the event. If something something is to break please make the Pallet Picnic staff aware as soon as possible, if the damage is costly then the customer will be invoiced for the broken equipment
